MADISON COUNTY, MO — A man died after an SUV struck him on Highway OO Saturday morning, KSDK reports.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 4 a.m. a 2003 Ford Excursion was driving on Highway OO north of Fredericktown when it a man lying on the road.
Jacob Kirkpatrick, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are not sure why the man was originally lying on the ground.
