Man drives through, shoots at Brentwood protest crowd

BRENTWOOD, MO – A man in Brentwood drove into and fired a gun at a crowd of protestors on Thursday, according to KSDK 

The incident occurred Thursday night in the Brentwood Promenade parkway, near a Target store. 

The suspect has been identified as Jeffrey McMillen, who was driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck at the time of the protest.  

According to eyewitness reports, McMillen first drove through the crowd of protestors, then returned a few minutes later to shoot a gun near the demonstrators.  

Police found a handgun in his possession soon afterward.  

McMillen has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail.  

His bond has been set for $100,000.
