Man dies after early May crash that killed child

ST. LOUIS, MO – A man has died from injuries he sustained in a May 4 accident at the intersection of W Florissant Avenue and Riverview Avenue, KMOV reports.

Robert Dixon, 40, was turning onto Florrisant from Riverview when his Chevy Cruze was struck by another vehicle. The force of the collision sent the the Cruze crashing into a parked car.

Four-year-old Makaya Dixon died in the accident. Robert Dixon was taken to a local hospital along with a two-year-old boy and three-year-old girl. Dixon passed away Monday, but the two children are expected to recover.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
