Man dead after crashing into two semi-trucks on I-44 near St. Robert

ST. ROBERT, MO (PULASKI COUNTY) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving two trucks on I-44 on Friday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred near St. Robert on westbound I-44, near the 163 mile marker, at 6:07 a.m.

The driver of a 2005 GMC Sierra, 51-year-old Dixon man Anthony J. Clark, went off the right side of the highway and crashed into a guardrail.

The Sierra then went back onto the road and crashed into the right side of a 2020 Freightliner truck driven by 36-year-old Eric W. Hogan, of Spiro, Okla. The Sierra was then hit by a second truck, a 2021 Freightliner being driven by 59-year-old Mark S. Stedorro Jr., of Corpus Christi, Tex.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:40 a.m.

Hogan and Stedorro were not injured in the crash.
