SOUTH ST. LOUIS, MO – A driver died after crashing into a wall in the Southwest Garden neighborhood early yesterday morning, according to KMOV 4.
The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Shaw Boulevard, near South Vandeventer Avenue, as the driver of a Pontiac Firebird was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver lost control of his vehicle, and it went off the side of the road, before crashing into a retaining wall.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
