Man airlifted to hospital, another injured in Dent County rollover crash

DENT COUNTY, MO – A man was airlifted to the hospital with serious wounds and another was injured in a rollover crash Monday morning in Dent County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 11:55 a.m. on Highway 72, near Finch Park, about three miles west of Salem, as a 2004 Ford Ranger was passing another vehicle.

The driver, 59-year-old David G. Lee, of Licking, lost control of the Ranger and it began to skid. Lee then overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to run off the side of the road and flip over an unspecified number of times.

A passenger, Raymondville man Troy C. Conley, 53, was airlifted to the hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries. Lee was taken with moderate wounds to a local hospital by ground ambulance.

The Ranger was totaled in the collision.
