Injuries reported in Jefferson County rear-end collision

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – Troopers have reported injuries resulting from a rear-end collision on Highway 57 in Jefferson County Monday afternoon.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Highway 67 just north of Route CC at about 2:11 p.m.

The report states that the driver in a 1999 Ford Ranger failed to notice stopped traffic in front of him and collided with the rear of a 2015 Lincoln Navigator.

The driver of the Ford, a 47-year-old male was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
