FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – One woman was taken to the hospital after being involved in a single-vehicle crash on I-44 Tuesday morning.
According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-44 just before 10:30 a.m.
Officials believe the driver, 42-year-old Mariland Wilson of Cuba, Missouri, skidded off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail and the interstate again, hitting a concrete median before coming to a stop.
Wilson was transported via ambulance to Mercy Hosptial Washington to be treated for minor injuries.
