Imperial motorcyclist injured in northbound US-61 accident

PEVELY, MO – A 33-year-old Imperial motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle accident on northbound US-61 on Sunday night.

Charles A. Curry was traveling north on US-61 on a 2019 Indian FTR1200 when he hit a bump in the road and lost control of the motorcycle, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash happened north of Hillside Estates Drive around 7:50 p.m.

Curry was transported to Mercy Hospital South for moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

The motorcycle sustained minor damages.
