Impala hydroplanes on MO-370, 19-year-old driver injured

ST. CHARLES, MO – A 2017 Chevrolet Impala hydroplaned on westbound Missouri 370 injuring the 19-year-old driver on Tuesday night.

Darrion I. Hutton was traveling west on Missouri 370 when his vehicle hydroplaned and traveled off the right side of the road, Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. The Chevrolet crashed into a guardrail west of Elm Street around 8:05 p.m.

Hutton was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet sustained moderate damages.
