FAIRMONT CITY, IL – Icy road conditions caused a 15-car pile-up on westbound I-70 near the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge early Friday morning.
According to KMOV4 News, the multiple-vehicle accident occurred in the early hours on New Year’s Day and involved at least 15 vehicles. Several other cars were also reported as sliding off the road in that same area.
It is unclear if anyone sustained injuries in the crash.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
