I-44 ramp to close for month-long repairs

ST. LOUIS, MO – Commuters in St. Louis should expect to find an alternate route around the I-44 exit to Jefferson Avenue starting Wednesday, September 9th.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the westbound ramp from I-44 to Jefferson will be shut down for approximately 30 days.

The ramp from Jefferson to I-44 will be reopened, simultaneously the off-ramp will be closed for ongoing work. Motorists are advised to take the Grand exit to Chouteau Avenue when on to Jefferson as an alternative.
