ST. LOUIS, MO – An accident blocked two lanes and the left shoulder and caused severe traffic delays on westbound I-270 at Old Halls Ferry Road on Thursday morning.
KSDK reports the traffic-blocking incident happened around 7 a.m. It is currently causing 11 minute delays between the exits 30 to 32 and average speeds are 10 m.p.h. They anticipate the area to be cleared around 7:58 a.m.
It is unknown if anyone sustained injuries in the crash.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
