Houston – Fatal Crash Update

Officials have released more details surrounding last Wednesday’s rollover crash in Houston.

At around 9:30 p.m., 66-year-old John D. Moncrief was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 when the truck veered off the roadway three miles north of Houston. The vehicle initially swerved to the right. In an attempt to correct the path of the truck, Moncrief turned to the left and this forced the vehicle to travel off the left side of the highway, striking an embankment and rolling over, ejecting the driver in the process. Moncrief died at Mercy Hospital on Thursday. There is still no indication other vehicles were involved in the incident, and authorities are still investigating the case.

Families of victims killed in various road-related incidents are always advised to consult personal injury/accident experts as it can be challenging to navigate the legal ramifications of these scenarios. In many cases, finding closure will depend on the pursuit of legal avenues appropriate to these situations.
