House Springs woman injured in single-vehicle crash on Twin Rivers Rd.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A woman from House Springs is recovering in the hospital after a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred near the intersection of Twin Rivers Rd. and River Bend Road just after 7:00 a.m.

Officials at the scene say 54-year-old Patti Rico failed to negotiate a turn and crashed her 2000 Dodge Neon into a traffic sign and water well cover.

Rico was transported to SSM Health St. Claire via ambulance to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
