House Springs woman injured in Eureka intersection collision

EUREKA, MO – A 35-year-old House Springs woman was injured in a collision at the intersection of northbound Missouri 109 and eastbound I-44 on Friday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jessica L. Colter was traveling north on Missouri 109 in a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Andrew D. Yates, 42, was traveling south in a 2014 Chevrolet Impala and attempting to turn east when he failed to yield to the Malibu. The accident happened around 5:46 a.m.

Colter was transported to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital for minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

MSHP reports both vehicles sustained extensive damages.
