House fire injures 1 on Converse Ave

ST. LOUIS, MO – A man was hospitalized after escaping from a house fire on the 3300 block of Converse Avenue Monday, KSDK reports.

Firefighters were dispatched to the house after receiving calls concerning the fire around 9 a.m. The house was completely engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.

Two men were squatting in the house at the time of the blaze. Both men escaped the fire. One of the two men was hospitalized. Their current condition is unknown.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
