WEST ALTON, MO – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on southbound US 67 north of Riverlands Way Tuesday, River Bender reports.
Richard P Rowland, 57, was walking north on Southbound US 67 when he was struck by the driver.
First responders were called to the scene of the accident around 10:15 p.m. They transported Rowland to Christian Northeast Hospital, where he later died.
