Ford Taurus hits Metro Link train in Washington Park

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL – A 2006 Ford Taurus went around the gates on northbound Highway 111 and hit a Metro Line train on Tuesday morning.

According to KMOV4 News, the crash occurred near 59th street on northbound Highway 111 around 10:30 a.m. Police report no one was injured in the crash.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

The train sustained minor damages and the front end of the Taurus was damaged.
