Florissant woman sustains moderate injuries in I-170 crash

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO – A 48-year-old Florissant woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on southbound I-170 on Saturday night.
Ronda M. Smith was traveling south on I-170 in a 2013 Chrysler 300 when she traveled off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The impact caused the Chrysler to slid and return to the interstate. MSHP reports the accident happened south of I-270 around 10:20 p.m.
Smith was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.
The Chrysler was totaled.
