Florissant man killed, 2 injured in crash on Hwy 94 in St. Charles Co.

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A man was killed and two others were injured in a crash on Highway 94 in St. Charles County yesterday evening, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on eastbound MO-94, west of Church Road, at 5:12 p.m., after a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 69-year-old Florissant man Juan A. Hoffman, began to skid on the roadway.

The PT Cruiser then collided with the front of a 1997 GMC 3500 being driven by 42-year-old St. Charles man James A. Warring.

Hoffman was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:03 p.m.

Warring sustained minor injuries in the crash.

His passenger, 45-year-old St. Charles man Michael L. Shelton, suffered moderate injuries.
