Eldon motorcyclist seriously injured in Cole County crash

COLE COUNTY, MO – A 34-year-old Eldon motorcyclist was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Pit Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Michael J. Huber was traveling south on Pit Road about half a mile south of Highway H on a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. He lost control of the motorcycle causing it to skid in the road. The motorcycle overturned around 3:55 p.m.

Huber was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia. MSHP reports he was not wearing a safety belt.

The motorcycle sustained moderate damages.
