Elderly woman injured in two-vehicle crash in Murphy

MURPHY, MO – A 75-year-old woman was injured on Friday in a two-vehicle crash southwest of Fenton, Leader Publications reports.

Eve Smith, 75, was driving east on Highway 30 when she collided with a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox that was stopped at a red light near Valley Dell Drive. Smith was taken to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital with moderate injuries. Her 2006 Ford Focus was totaled in the crash.

Nicole Davis, the 35-year-old driver of the Equinox, was uninjured.
