Early morning crash closes multiple lanes on I-55

ARNOLD, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to close two lanes on I-55 following an accident early Friday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-55 near MO-141.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. However, the two right lanes of I-55 at MO-141 were closed for just under an hour while the crash was investigated and cleared from the roadway.
