Driver rear-ends vehicle, injures 3 on I-270 near MO 370

ST. CHARLES, MO – Two adults and one juvenile were injured in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-270 past MO 370 Sunday night, MSHP reports.

Ticillia Caffey, 31, was driving a Passat on eastbound I-270. As she approached MO 370, she struck the back of Grand Cherokee, driven by Riley L Carriger, 26.

The collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and collide with a concrete barrier before coming to rest on I-270.

Caffey and her 5-year old male passenger both sufferred minor injuries. Carriger sufferred serious injuries.  Emergency crews took all three were taken to nearby hospitals.
