Driver mildly injured after colliding with school bus on Hwy 30

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A driver was injured after striking a school bus on Hwy 30 near Little Brennan Rd last Friday, Leader Publications reports.

A 42-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on eastbound Hwy 30 when he ran a red light and collided with the bus as it turned left from the Hwy onto Little Brennan Rd.

Karen S. Warth, 63, was driving the bus when the wreck occurred. She was transporting 20 students to Woodridge Middle School that morning. The crash caused one of the students to have a bloody nose. No other injuries were reported on the bus.

The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries. He was treated and released from Mercy Hospital South.
