Driver killed in head-on crash at Hwy HH and Wildwood Ln

ROBERTSVILLE, MO – A man was killed Saturday when a pickup truck slammed head-on into his Ford Fiesta at an intersection in rural Franklin County.

According to 5 On Your Side, the incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Highway HH at Wildwood Lane, when a Ford F-250 crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Fiesta driven by 30-year-old Daniel French.

French was pronounced dead at the scene. The F-250’s seriously injured 27-year-old male driver was taken to an unspecified hospital.

Neither had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
