Driver injures 2 after running red light near St Hwy U and I-61

MOSCOW MILLS, MO – Two people were injured after a car ran a red light and struck another vehicle near State Hwy U and I-64 Friday, MSHP reports.

Brianna G Marciante, 26, was driving a Honda Civic on northbound I-61 as Carly Murray, 53, drove a Chevrolet Cruze on eastbound Route U.

Murray ran the stoplight and struck the front of the Chevy Cruze with the left side of the Civic.

First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 10:35 a.m. and hospitalized the two drivers with minor injuries at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis.
