Driver injured after vehicle hydroplanes and crashes into guardrail

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – Slippery road conditions contributed to an accident that injured a male driver Thursday morning, as his vehicle hydroplaned and hit a guardrail on Highway 370, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Brandon Bailey, 28, was speeding east of Harry S. Truman Boulevard in his 2002 Ford Ranger when the vehicle began to hydroplane. The car skidded through the road and then hit a guardrail, officials report.

Bailey sustained minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles for treatment.
