Driver injured after semi-truck overturns in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – A Union man was injured after his truck overturned along Route O near St. Marys Road Thursday evening.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. near the intersection of Missouri Route O and Missouri Route AM.

Troopers at the scene believe the 1982 international truck driven by 68-year-old Lawrence Roesner overturned after skidded off the right side of the roadway and striking a ditch.

Roesner was rushed to Mercy Hospital Washington to be treated for moderate injuries following the crash.
