Driver injured after running stop sign in Franklin County intersection

ST. CLAIR, MO – A 28-year-old female driver was injured after running a stop sign and crashing her 2006 Ford F-150 in a ditch at Old Cove Road and Mill Hill Road on Tuesday morning.

Rachel R. Farmer, 28, was traveling southbound on Old Cove Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at Mill Hill Road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. Her Ford traveled off the road and struck a ditch.

Farmer was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for moderate injuries.

The Ford was totaled.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
