Driver injured after losing control of vehicle and striking utility pole

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO — According to the Missouri State Highway, a driver suffered minor injuries after veering off the road and hitting a utility pole.

The accident happened at 11:36 a.m. Tuesday on Finney Road, west of Route H, when a 1997 Toyota Camry swerved to avoid a deer in the road and hit the pole.

Officials transported the driver to Mercy Hospital St. Louis to treat her injuries.
