Driver hospitalized after crash caused by debris on I-70

ST. LOUIS, MO – A driver was taken to the hospital early this morning following a rollover collision on I-70 caused by debris in the roadway, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Daric K. Singleton was traveling west on I-70 when he swerved to avoid debris in the roadway near Bermuda Drive. Singleton lost control of his 2020 Volkswagen Jetta, which hit the median wall before overturning.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene by 5:10 a.m. They took the 23-year-old victim to DePaul Hospital – St. Louis with minor injuries. His current condition is not known.
