Driver hits embankment after losing control of vehicle on I-170

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — A male driver was injured after losing control of his vehicle and eventually hitting an embankment, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

According to officials, at 5:50 PM Tuesday Clyde Pulliam was driving in a 2002 Chevrolet trailblazer when he began to lose control of his vehicle and traveled off the side of the road. The 53-year-old regained control to enter the ramp on northbound Interstate 170 from I-70 but lost control again, hitting an embankment.

Pulliam was transported to SSM Health DePaul to treat his injuries.
