Driver backs into pedestrian at Alton Square Mall

ALTON, IL – A driver struck and injured a pedestrian at Alton Square Mall Tuesday, The Telegraph reports.

Dispatchers sent fire crews and police to the scene of the accident just after 6 p.m. The driver collided with the pedestrian as they were pulling out of a parking space.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
