Driver and two police officers hurt in car crash in St. Louis Co.

ST. FERDINAND TOWNSHIP, MO (ST. LOUIS COUNTY) – A civilian and two police officers were injured after the driver ran a traffic light in St. Ferdinand Township, east of Florissant, this morning.

According to KSDK, the accident happened near the intersection of Old Halls Ferry Rd and Pershall Rd at about 5 a.m. when the driver of a minivan allegedly drove through a red light and collided with a police cruiser.

The minivan driver and two police officers riding in the cruiser were taken to area hospitals for the treatment of non-critical injuries.

The identities of the victims have not been revealed at this time.
