Distracted driver rear-ends vehicle in Dardenne

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A female driver was injured after her car was rear-ended Thursday morning on Route N in Dardenne, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

The driver of a 2017 Jeep Wrangler was following too closely behind 35-year-old Heather Welker’s 2004 Nissan Sentra and hit her at the intersection with Hawk Ridge Trail.

Welker sustained minor injuries from the incident and was taken to Progress West Hospital for treatment.
