Crash shuts down two lanes on I-44 westbound near Eureka

EUREKA, MO — An accident Tuesday morning shut down two right lanes for hours on Interstate 44 westbound near Eureka, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The crash occurred past Six Flags Road and was first reported at 6:55 a.m.

MoDOT initially projected the crash to clear at 7:52 a.m.

As of 7:58 a.m., only one right lane was reopened.  At 10:40 a.m., the right lane was still closed and estimated to reopen at 11;37 a.m.


No other information has been reported.
