Crash shuts down lane on I-270 WB in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle collision Wednesday morning was blocking the right lane on Interstate 270 westbound near the Bellefontaine Conservation Area in north St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.


The accident happened on the stretch of I-270 westbound west of the merge to Missouri Route 367 near Castle Point. It was first reported by MoDOT STL shortly after 8:00 a.m.

The crash was expected to clear at 9:00 a.m.

No further details have been reported on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
