ST. CHARLES, MO — A vehicle accident Wednesday morning closed the left lane on Interstate 70 westbound in St. Charles, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 at the merge to 1st Capitol Drive and was first reported at 7:17 a.m.
MoDOT projected the scene would clear at 8:02 a.m.
