Crash closes multiple lanes on I-70 WB in northwest St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle accident Friday afternoon blocked three left lanes on Interstate 70 westbound in northwest St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The incident happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 east of Jennings Station Road shortly before 12:32 p.m.

At 12:41 p.m., the accident appeared to have been moved to the right lane, as it remained closed more than an hour later.

MoDOT initially projected the scene to clear at 1:11 p.m., but the clearance time would later be postponed to 2:11 p.m.

No further information has been shared on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
