Columbia driver injured in eastbound Highway 94 accident

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A 26-year-old Columbia driver was injured in an accident on eastbound Missouri 94 on Thursday morning.

Police report Caitlin L. Montgomery was traveling east on Missouri 94 in a 2011 Kia Sorento. She failed to stay in her lane and traveled off the right side of the road. Then, Montgomery over-corrected causing the Kia to travel off the left side of the road. The Kia hit a rock embankment at Meyeryhill Road around 7:53 a.m.

Montgomery was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for moderate injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Kia was totaled.
