Collision shuts down lanes on I-64

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to shut down two lanes along I-64 following a collision late Tuesday evening.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the crash occurred within the westbound lanes of I-64 near the Chesterfield Parkway overpass at 7:00 p.m.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. However, this situation is still developing.

Authorities are advising motorists to avoid this portion of I-64 as delays are likely throughout Tuesday night.
