ST. LOUIS – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to shut down the right shoulder along I-70 in St. Louis following an accident Thursday afternoon.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-70 just before the I-270 overpass.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision as of yet. However, officials are advising motorists to proceed with caution around this portion of I-270 throughout Thursday evening.
