MADISON, IL – A car fire blocked at least one lane on southbound I-55/I-70 at the Illinois 203 exits (4, 4A, and 4B) on Friday afternoon.
KSDK reports the car fire originated around 2:04 p.m. They expect all lanes of traffic to be cleared around 2:33 p.m.
It is unclear what started the car fire or if anyone was injured.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
