Car collides into gate and mailbox

ST. LOUIS, MO – A vehicle traveled off the road and struck a gate and a mailbox Sunday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Christopher Barton, 48, struck a gate and a mailbox while driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado on highway 185 near Spring Bluff school.

Barton’s passenger, 41-year-old Jedediah Elliott, was taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital with minor injuries.

There is no report on Barton’s condition.
