HIGH RIDGE, MO – A man from Byrnes Mill was injured Friday afternoon after a vehicle collided with a tree in St. Louis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 4:40 p.m. on the westbound ramp from Interstate 44 to Antire Road.
A 2001 Ford E150, driven by 19-year-old Byrnes Mill teen David A. Wadlow, went off the right side of the ramp and struck a tree.
A passenger, Raymond W. Wadlow, 35, also of Byrnes Mill, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries.
Neither he nor the driver was wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The Ford was totaled in the collision.
