Two injured in I-270 car crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – According to a crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two individuals were injured yesterday in a car crash in the southbound lanes of I-270. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m., just north of I-55.

According to the report, 21-year-old Hallie Monti lost control of her Chrysler Pacifica, causing her to travel off the roadway and strike a concrete barrier. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, striking the towing unit of another vehicle.

Monti and a passenger in her vehicle both sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Her vehicle was totaled in the accident.
