Officials have released more details regarding Wednesday’s highway crash in St. Clair.
At around 10:00 a.m., 67-year-old Kevin Broshous of Sullivan was killed in I-44 West after the SUV he was driving crashed into the highway guardrail. This forced the truck to swerve back onto the roadway, colliding with at least three tractor-trailers. Broshous was pronounced dead at the scene. According to authorities, other involved parties were not injured in the multi-vehicle crash. The case is still under investigation.
