Springfield – Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A pickup truck and a motorcycle collided in Springfield Wednesday last week.

At around 2:00 p.m., a 2016 Chevy Silverado pulling a trailer collided with a 2006 Honda motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Brandon Hudson. The driver of the truck was not hurt, while Hudson sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The collision occurred at the intersection of North Broadway Avenue and West Kearney Street and, according to reports, the truck pulled ahead and blocked the path of the motorcycle. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
